FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a detachable device for connecting to a charging station. The detachable device consists of two mutually compatible docking assemblies. The first docking unit contains a metal case with an electromechanical lock with a latch-bolt and an electrical contact connector attached to it. The bolt tongue holds the vehicle in the charging station. The second docking unit consists of a metal cylinder with a groove for the entry of the latch-bolt of the electromechanical lock, a cylindrical insulator of electrical contacts with a spring damping electrical contacts from technological backlash, and a metal bracket. The metal bracket consists of two parts and a plastic pad on it for installation on the steering rack of the vehicle. The latchbolt and the cylinder with the groove provide docking and holding the vehicle in the charging station.
EFFECT: creation of a device for connecting an electric vehicle to a charging station.
