FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system and a method for ensuring the registration of a map in medical visualization, a work station and a computer-readable carrier. The system comprises: a first input interface for access to the map data; a second input interface for access to medical image data; and a processor for implementation of a learning algorithm supported by model learning to compare a medical map with a medical image; determination of a condition space for a learning algorithm supported by a set of features, extracted from the map and image data; definition of the action space for learning algorithm with the reinforcement based on the given transformation action set that is available for application to the medical map, with the action space being structured at different levels, each of these different levels containing a subset of transformation actions, and these different levels form a hierarchy of transformation actions, in which the selection of the transformation sequence by the reinforcement learning algorithm is limited to a decreasing progression in the hierarchy.
EFFECT: technical result consists in optimizing the registration of a medical map.
