SUBSTANCE: processing machine serves for drying carbodies with applied coating. Processing machine (100) for processing blanks (104) and method for processing blanks designed in the form of carbodies (106) including process chamber (110) and handler (114), ensuring delivery of blanks (104) to process chamber (110), their removal from process chamber (110) and/or relocation through process chamber (110) in the direction of relocation (112). Processing machine comprises several inlet ports (126) for gas supply to process chamber (110) and several outlet ports (132) for gas outlet out of process chamber (110) with inlet ports (126) on one side and outlet ports (132) on the other side being located on opposite sides of diagonal plane (138) of process chamber (110), with diagonal plane (138) extending in process chamber (110) parallel to the direction of movement (112), in fact diagonally, with handler ensuring capture of blanks (104) and their relocation through process chamber (110) at least by sections in such a way that vertical direction (140) of blanks (104) is oriented transversely to direction of movement (112).

EFFECT: invention enables simplification of construction and possibility of optimized blank processing.
