SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of ceramic proppant - proppant granules used to improve the efficiency of wells recovery in oil and gas production by hydraulic fracturing. The method for producing proppant includes grinding the feedstock, granulating with the addition of a binder in a mixer-granulator with a bowl and rotary stirrer rotating in different directions, drying granules, screening, roasting, screening into commercial fractions. Binder supply in the amount of 10-25 wt. % of the weight of the feedstock is carried out fractionally, in two or three portions. In the first case, the supply of the first portion of the binder in the amount of 7-20 wt. % of the mass of the initial ground raw material is carried out for 10-20 s, granulated, the supply of the second portion of the binder in the amount of 3-5 wt. % of the mass of the initial ground raw material is carried out within 5-10 s. In the second case, the supply of the first portion of the binder in the amount of 4-10 wt. % of the mass of the initial ground raw material is carried out for 10-20 s, granulated, the supply of the second portion of the binder in an amount of 4-10 wt. % of the mass of the initial ground raw material is carried out for 10-20 s, granulated, the third portion of the binder is supplied in an amount of 2-5 wt. % of the mass of the initial ground raw material within 5-10 s. The granulation is completed by pelletizing the granules by feeding ground raw materials in an amount of 2-20 wt. % by weight of the feedstock without binder supply. As the binder feed into the mixer-granulator increases at a bowl rotation speed of 18-30 rpm, the rotary agitator rotation speed is increased from 315-630 rpm to 630-1050 rpm, the crushed raw material is added at a mixer rotation speed of 420-1050 rpm. / min, and to complete the rolling process, the rotation speed of the mixer is reduced to 210-735 rpm. A heat-treated magnesia-silicate charge or aluminosilicate charge based on bauxite clay is used as a raw material.
EFFECT: increased yield of commercial fractions, increased productivity of the granulator.
