SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular to a method for producing antigen-binding proteins against a foreign antigen of interest, providing for the production of a genetically modified rat or mouse in which the target locus contains a biallelic deletion of all or part of the gene encoding the autoantigen. In this case, the preparation of the above mouse or rat involves the introduction into the mouse or rat embryo of Cas9 protein or the nucleic acid encoding Cas9 protein, as well as the first and second guide nucleotide sequence.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to effectively reduce the time required to obtain a genetically modified mouse or rat with reduced tolerance to a foreign antigen of interest, and also provides for the production of more antibodies against a foreign antigen of interest.
