SUBSTANCE: invention relates to balance for a clockwork, comprising rigid parts formed by a hub defining the axis of rotation of the balance, at least one rim sector, at least one crossbar connecting said at least one rim sector with said hub, and having a groove for receiving and gripping in the required position of the inertial body, and the groove extends into a cavity bounded on the one hand by the rigid part of the specified balance, and on the other hand by an elastic shoulder having the first end made in one piece with the rigid part of the specified balance, and the second, free , the far end.
EFFECT: according to the invention, the elastic shoulder has a main part of a non-constant cross-section, and a part of the main part has a greater thickness compared to the rest of the elastic shoulder, so that it has a larger volume of material on which stresses act, and retains maximum elastic energy.
