FIELD: watch and clock industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the watch industry, more precisely to the field of clock oscillators, in particular to the field of clock balances containing means of regulating inertia and/or balancing. Essence: the balance for a clockwork mechanism contains rigid parts, which include a hub that determines the axis of rotation of this balance, at least one sector of the rim and at least one spoke connecting at least one sector of the rim with the specified hub, and also has a groove for receiving and capturing the inertial element in the required position, and the specified groove is open to a space bounded on one side by a rigid part of this balance, and on the other side by an elastic foot containing the first end, made in one piece with the rigid part of the specified balance, and the second, free, distant, end. According to the present invention, the elastic foot contains a hook-shaped main part, while the free, far end of the hook is located parallel to the part of the balance, the stiffness of which is greater than or equal to the stiffness of the elastic foot.
EFFECT: creation of a mechanism that provides better retention of inertial elements with the help of an elastic foot that can remain at stress levels not exceeding its elastic limit, in order to minimize the risk of damaging it, as well as creation a balance with an elastic foot that has a sufficiently rigid geometry and has sufficient load capacity to hold the inertial element in the required position, regardless of the type of shock load that the watch is subjected to.
