SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication technology and can be used in mobile communication systems. To achieve the technical result a data transmission method used in a mobile communication system is implemented using a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) which can be reconfigured in a reconfiguration cycle of the MCS, and using a transmission time interval (TTI) of reconfigurable duration, wherein the duration of the reconfiguration cycle of the MCS differs from the duration of the TTI.

EFFECT: increased extent of transmitted information through change of duration of the reconfiguration cycle.
