SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for a wireless communication system, wherein the device is configured to perform semi-persistent scheduling (SPS), SPS interval size is based on one or more transmission time intervals (TTI). Device is configured to receive and process the configuration message, wherein the configuration message includes one or more data fields indicating the size of the SPS interval, wherein the configuration message indirectly signals the size of the SPS interval using one or more codewords, wherein each codeword represents a specific size of the SPS interval, wherein the apparatus includes a storage configured to store a plurality of elements, wherein each element comprises a plurality of transmission time intervals, setting the size of the SPS interval, and wherein the device is configured to access the storage using the codeword, and obtain the size of the SPS interval from the storage.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of semi-persistent scheduling in a wireless communication system.
