SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for monitoring the state of the road surface and airfields. The device for monitoring the state of the road surface and airfields is made in the form factor of a cylinder-shaped or parallelepiped-shaped sensor or in the form of a truncated cone-shaped pyramid. The device contains a housing mounted in the upper layer of the road surface with a working platform located upon this surface, inside which there is a microprocessor board made with the possibility of connecting a communication cable to it for remote data transmission via the RS485 interface. The housing contains at least one optical unit for measuring the thickness of a water film, a sensor for determining the presence of "black ice", a surface temperature sensor, a sensor for measuring conductivity and electrochemical polarization, connected to the microprocessor and sensors, brought out to the working platform of the housing, made of materials, worn out simultaneously with the working platform of the body, the temperature sensor brought out to the working platform is placed in a plug placed in a tube made of abrasion material, which can be pushed downward in this tube when the latter and the body are worn out under external influence from the side of automobile tires.

EFFECT: increased reliability of the results of monitoring the condition of the road surface.
