SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to assess the technical condition of rotary equipment. A method for assessing the technical condition of rotary equipment is to use the analysis of vibration and strain gauge spectra of the equipment. Additionally, the analysis of the difference in the time of reaching the pulses from the defect to the strain gauges is carried out with the determination of the spatial location of the defect.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and reliability of determining defects with a constant frequency of vibrations, as well as defects with a non-constant frequency of vibrations, and sources of random shocks and vibrations.
