FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used for processing end sections of U-shaped beams, for example, U-beams. Die includes upper and lower plates, sectional punch and sectional matrix. There is an assembly of the upper extractor made in the form of a guide bushing fixed on the upper plate, a compression spring located on the outer surface of the guide bushing, a pusher connected to it and placed in the hole of the guiding bushing of the screw. Male die consists of the middle section, on which the rear stop is fixed, and replaceable lateral stepped sections attached to the middle section. Matrix is made in the form of replaceable stepped sections reciprocally replaceable to puncheon, having working part with shape and sizes corresponding to shape and sizes of side sections of male die. Gap between replaceable side sections of the puncheon and reciprocal replaceable stepped sections of the matrix has a constant over the entire working length of the puncheon and matrix, a value equal to the specified thickness of the beam.
EFFECT: as a result, the deflection of the beam wall is eliminated.
