SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry, in particular to equipment for deep-well pumping of oil from a well with a pumping unit, and can be used to clamp a polished rod and hold a sucker rod string on the suspension beam of the pumping unit. Clamp for holding a string of sucker rods, containing a body with a hole for the rod, consisting of two half-bodies, connected by a rotation mechanism relative to each other at one end, and at the other end - equipped with a threaded compression mechanism in the form of a cylindrical pin with a thread for at least one corresponding nut inserted into the through-holes of the corresponding half-bodies. The half-bodies and their mounting holes are identical. The turning mechanism is made in the form of a spring plate rigidly connected by its ends with the corresponding half-cases and working for expansion. On the side of the spring plate, the body is equipped with an additional hole for the mounting projection of the traverse. The stem bore in each half-body has a radius corresponding to the maximum stem diameter that the clamp can grip, and the distance between the remote points of the hole when the half-bodies are compressed does not exceed the minimum stem diameter that the clamp can grip.
