FIELD: smoking articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a filtering unit of a smoking article, a smoking article with such a filtering unit and a set containing a smoking article and a filtering unit. The filter unit for a smoking article contains a tube having first and second portions with different internal diameters, and a sleeve at least partially surrounding the tube. The second section is located at the distal end of the filter unit. The inner diameter of the second section decreases with distance from the distal end of the filter unit.
EFFECT: simplified connection of the filter unit with a smoking article.
