FIELD: smoking product filter unit.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filter unit of a smoking product, a smoking product with such a filter unit, and a kit containing a smoking product and a filter unit. The filter unit for a smoking product contains a tube of filter material having first and second portions. The second section is located at the distal end of the filter unit. The inner diameter of the first section is different from the inner diameter of the second section. The inner diameter of the second section decreases with distance from the distal end of the filter unit.
EFFECT: provides simplification of insertion of the filter insert into the filter unit, and ensures contact of the inner surface of the tube with the outer surface of the insert along the entire length of the insert.
