FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to use of 1-[2-[[1-(4-chlorophenyl)pyrazol-3-yl]oxymethyl]-3-methylphenyl]-4-methyltetrazol-5-one (compound I) against Microdochium nivale which contains the G143A mutation in the mitochondrial cytochrome b gene, which provides resistance to Qo inhibitors. Method for fighting Microdochium nivale on wheat comprises treating a plant reproduction material with an effective amount of compound I or a mixture of compound I with a second compound II selected from: 2-[4-4-chlorophenoxy)-2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-1-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)propan-2-ol, 2-[4-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-3-methyl-1-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)butan-2-ol, 1-[4-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-1-cyclopropyl-2-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)ethanol, prothioconazole, difenoconazole, triticonazole, ipconazole, imidacloprid, fludioxonil, thiabendazole, metalaxil, carboxin, thiram, thiamethoxam, flutriafol, clothianidin, fluxapiroxade, sedaxan, fluoxastrobin, azoxystrobin and pyraclostrobin.
EFFECT: compound I demonstrates high activity against Microdochium nivale with resistance to Qo inhibitors when applied by treatment of seeds and does not result in any phytotoxic symptoms on a treated plant.
