FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry and can be used in production of chlorine dioxide solution for disinfection, water purification, sterilization and bleaching. To obtain stabilized aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide, two aqueous solutions (A) and (B) are prepared. To prepare the first solution (A), metal or ammonium chlorite (A1), metal or ammonium carbonate (A2) and metal or ammonium bicarbonate (A3) are dissolved in water. The mass ratio of (A1) to (A2) + (A3) is (2.4-3.0): 1. To obtain the second solution (B), metal or ammonium persulfate (B1) and metal or ammonium bisulfate (B2) are dissolved in water. The mass ratio of (B1) to (B2) is 3:1. Then solution (B) is added to solution (A).

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain an aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide without destabilizing by-products, which can be stored at temperatures up to 30°C and normal atmospheric pressure for at least 12 months.
