FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: plant for the production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) is proposed, including gas drying and treatment units, preliminary and main heat exchangers, a separator, the first and second expanders and a compressor connected to each other, with the plant being equipped with a compression refrigeration machine; a compressor, the first section of the preliminary heat exchanger, a treatment unit, the second section of the preliminary heat exchanger, the main heat exchanger, the first expander and a separator equipped with an LNG outfeed line and a return gas line with the main heat exchanger being sequentially located on the production gas line, on the process gas line, the evaporator of the refrigeration machine, the second expander and the connection to the return gas line are located, and on the low-pressure gas line formed by these lines, the preliminary heat exchanger is located.
EFFECT: increased LNG recovery due to the installation of a compression refrigeration machine on the process gas line in front of the expander, the compressor of which is connected by expanders.
