FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to the oil industry and can be used in installations of electric centrifugal pumps (ESP) for downhole oil production. The submersible electric motor has a rotor made in the form of packages put on the shaft, separated by at least one intermediate bearing. The stator has a pressed-in magnetic circuit with an inner thin-walled shell. The inner thin-walled shell is formed in the form of a coating and separates the cavity of the stator from the cavity of the rotor located inside it. The compounded stator is provided with a groove connecting the upper and lower cavities filled with a dielectric fluid. At least one of the cavities accommodates a liquid volume compensator made in the form of an elastic element. There is a sensor inside the stator. This sensor measures the absolute pressure in its cavity.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the reliability and, as a result, the average service life of the electric motor while maintaining the maximum efficiency.
