SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric machines using the piezoelectric effect and the methods of their operation. It can be used in industry, transport and in daily life to drive various mechanisms. The gorge stepper motor contains a case and a runner located in the case. The runner is formed by the front electric drive spacer section, the running gorge section, and the back electric drive spacer section connected sequentially. The design of the motor according to the invention includes a means of changing the temperature of the case, made with the possibility of changing the temperature mainly of the part of the case in which the front or back electric drive spacer section is located. In case of insufficient disinhibition of the spacer section, the part of the case in which such a section is located is heated. In case of insufficient braking of the spacer section, the part of the case in which such a spacer section is located is cooled.

EFFECT: reduced dependence of the output power of the motor on different temperature conditions.
