FIELD: nuclear industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of search and identification of toxic fragments of a nuclear and radiation hazardous object (NRHO) destroyed as a result of emergency impacts using computer vision systems. The method of searching for and identifying toxic fragments of a nuclear and radiation hazardous object destroyed as a result of emergency impacts is to search for and identify fragments according to radiation reconnaissance data on the values of the equivalent dose rate of gamma radiation, while from various spectral channels of the video equipment of an unmanned aerial vehicle receive images and carry out search and identification of fragments on them using computer vision algorithms, using characteristic brightness and temperature features of fragments of packaging, housing and components of a nuclear and radiation hazardous object.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving accuracy and efficiency of searching, identifying and determining the location of toxic fragments on the ground.
