FIELD: radiation environment monitoring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of detection of the radiation situation. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the method for determining the parameters of an emergency radiation source according to the data of aerial radiation reconnaissance of the area contains stages at which the height of the rise of a cloud of radioactive impurities and the activity of radioactive substances released into the environment as a result of an accident are determined by solving the inverse problem, the initial data for which are the results of aerial radiation reconnaissance of the area (ARRA) conducted by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) as a radioactive trace is formed.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of the prediction of environmental pollution by radioactive substances from emergency sources.
