FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of monitoring the movement of vehicles. The method is represented by the following stages: the system sets the value of the critical deviation from the route in terms of distance; the value of the critical delay of arrival at the reference point; permissible amount of transport idle time during the trip. The system receives data on the coordinates and speed of transport at certain intervals during the trip. The obtained data are compared with the reference ones in terms of distance and time; in case of exceeding the critical values, a message about this is generated and sent to people involved in logistical activities. The planned and real tracks are drawn on the map with an indication of deviations, if any.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the fact that the observer gets a complete picture of the trip in real time on the basis of the map with two tracks (planned and real) and with the help of messages about deviations from the route in terms of distance, delays when passing control points, idle time.
