FIELD: medicine; dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to dentistry, it is intended for determining bone density in jawbones. The syringe with the initial volume of distilled water is weighed, a sample of the selected bone tissue is immersed in the syringe, and the syringe with the initial volume of distilled water and the sample is weighed. The volume of the bone sample is determined by the difference between the initial volume of the distilled liquid and the volume of the initial liquid with the sample. If the bone density index is higher than 1.5 g/cm3 and the densitometry index is more than 1550 cu., dental implantation is recommended. At values below 1.5 g/cm3 and 1550 cu., an additional examination for systemic osteoporosis is recommended.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to determine changes in different areas of the jaw bone tissue as much as possible and to predict the optimal tactics for further orthopedic treatment.
