FIELD: pneumatic tools.
SUBSTANCE: pneumatic hammer contains a cylindrical case, a working tool held relatively to the cylindrical case, a handle with a pre-chamber, an inlet device and a case with an outlet hole, a partition with an inlet throttle and an outlet channel, a tube with longitudinal and radial outlet channels on its side surface, and an annular outlet chamber formed by a partition, a cylindrical case and a handle case. A striker with a through axial channel for passing the said tube divides the cavity of the cylindrical case into a working stroke chamber on the side of the partition and an idle stroke chamber on the side of the working tool. In the wall of the annular part of the striker, a bypass channel is made with a separate output to its side surface and to the end of the striker from the side of the working stroke chamber. The bypass channel of the striker is provided with its coaxial continuation in the form of a drainage channel having a cross-sectional area less than the area of the bypass channel, and extending to the end of the striker from the side of the idle stroke chamber, with the formation by the said channels of a through-stepped bypass channel, which constantly communicates the said chambers of idle and working stroke with each other.
EFFECT: decreased air backpressure in the chambers of the working and idle stroke during the end of the working and idle stroke of the striker.
