FIELD: 3D printing system.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an offset 3D printing system and method. During powder layering printing, the printheads are cyclically closed and opened along a plurality of jet holes on both sides in the width direction, so that the jet targeting areas of the print areas on adjacent layers corresponding to the same jet hole alternate. When the individual jet holes of the printheads are plugged, the corresponding positions of the plugged jet holes in the adjacent layers are also mutually alternating, and the problem of disruption of the printing module sections caused by the lack of spraying of adhesive substances due to plugging of individual jet holes on one layer does not maximizing 3D printing efficiency and reducing printhead maintenance costs. The present invention also relates to a combined 3D printing method.
EFFECT: in the present invention, by offset printing of the printheads and by performing printing by re-planning the print path after dividing the print volume into layers, high-efficiency, fast printing can be achieved, in addition, printing defect due to blockage of individual jet openings is eliminated, thereby reducing costs for printhead maintenance and prolongs the life of the printheads.
