FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlling metal powder fusion in 3D printer. It can be used in various industries, such as machine building, transport machine building, instrument making. Liquid metal is distributed according to preset areas of layer, according to programmed pattern, note here that laser heating is performed in places of planned melting of metal powder in medium with S-shaped characteristic of dependence of electric conductivity on temperature and consisting of unmelted metal powder immersed in immersion melt with lower melting point. Said medium is used to current filamentation for melting of metal powder in current filaments. Article is obtained after cooling down to temperature lower than the melting point of the powder, but higher than the melting temperature of the immersion melt.
EFFECT: higher speed of 3D printing and reduced porosity of material of manufactured articles.
