FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly to production of metal wear-resistant tungsten-containing powders. It can be used for applying wear-resistant coatings during restoration and hardening of critical machine parts. A tungsten-containing powder is produced from waste of a tungsten-nickel-iron pseudo-alloy by means of electroerosive dispersion in lighting kerosene at a voltage in the electrodes of 100…110 V, a capacitance of discharge capacitors of 50 μF and a pulse repetition rate of 120…130 Hz.
EFFECT: powder of a regular spherical shape is produced, energy consumption is reduced and environmental safety of manufacture increased.
