SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring electrical quantities of current, power, energy, as well as protection and automation systems. The technical result is achieved by the fact that a current transformer with active correction contains three transformers, two load resistances, an amplifier, the first and third transformers with input and output windings, a second transformer with an input and three output windings, the first output winding of the second transformer is connected to the amplifier input, the third output winding of the second transformer is connected in series with the resistance of the second load, in parallel to which a circuit is connected, consisting of a series-connected output circuit of the amplifier and the second output winding of the second transformer, the input windings of the first and second transformers are connected in series, the output winding of the first transformer is connected in series through the resistance of the first load with the input winding of the third transformer, a circuit is connected to the output winding of the third transformer made from the series-connected third output winding of the second transformer and the resistance of the second load.
EFFECT: protection against overloads of connected measuring instruments.
