FIELD: paging devices.
SUBSTANCE: information about a terminal device moving is sent by the terminal device to a network access device. Information about target paging zone is received by the terminal device, while the network access device initiates the terminal device paging. The target paging zone is determined by the network access device before information about the terminal device moving is sent by the terminal device to the network access device. A message with a request for resuming the RRC connected state is sent by the terminal device to the network access device. The message with the request for resuming the RRC connected state is applied to specify the current type of update of information about the terminal device location. Information about moving contains information about time. Information about time is applied to specify information about absolute time, when the terminal device visits each service cell as the part of the process of the terminal device moving in the previous inactive RRC state.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing possibility of the network access device to assign a suitable paging zone lowering the signal overhead.
