FIELD: communication technologies.

SUBSTANCE: network access device receives indication information of RRC of inactive UE status. When the UE leaves the RRC of the connected state, the network access device determines, based on the RRC indication information of the connected inactive state, that UE enters in RRC connected inactive state or RRC idle state. When determining that the UE enters a connected inactive state in the RRC, the network access device stores context information of the UE and sends a connected inactive state to the RRC input to the UE, so that UE enters in RRC connected inactive state. According to the method, the network access device can control, based on the UE state, the UE enter the corresponding RRC state, thereby reducing the volume of service alarm and increasing system efficiency.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing a new scheme facilitating network access device to control transition of RRC state for mobile device.
