SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computing. Disclosed is an image predictive decoding method that extracts coded indication information data and coded residual signal data from compressed data. The encoded data of the indication information are decoded to recover the indication information. Motion information associated with an area in a previous decoded frame is set. One or more sets of motion information are extracted from a lot of pieces of motion information stored in the memory; generating a predicted target area signal by combining two signals obtained from reconstructed images stored in the memory. The residual signal of the target area is recovered from the encoded residual signal data. The pixel signal of the target area is recovered based on the predicted signal and the reconstructed residual signal; and the reconstructed pixel signal is stored as part of the reconstructed image.

EFFECT: technical result consists in suppressing the noise of the predicted signals.
