FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sliding device for the vehicle seat. The sliding device contains a pair of parallel rails, each of which contains a lower rail, an upper rail that is mounted with ability to slide on the lower rail, and a lock to ensure/prevent movement of the upper rail relatively to the lower rail. The release element is designed to move these locks to a position in which the upper rails can move freely relatively to the lower rails. In accordance with the invention, each lock contains a rear part, which is bent into a “U” shape, and contains a lower foot carrying locking elements made with possibility of contact with the corresponding locking elements made in the lower rail, and an upper foot made with possibility of engagement with the release element.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the structure.
