FIELD: personal and household items.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed for heating water for domestic use, in particular to an electric kettle. Electric kettle (1) comprises body (2) with opening (8) adapted to pour water therethrough from the body, and gooseneck (9), which is a continuation of said opening on the outside of the body to facilitate pouring of water; filter holder (11) disposed at the level of said opening, and removable filter (14) arranged to be installed in front of the opening. Kettle also comprises valve (24) located on the filter, and a connecting means disposed between the valve and the filter. Connecting means is arranged to move the valve relative to the filter from the opening position to the closing position of the gooseneck and vice versa, from the closing position to the opening position of the gooseneck.
EFFECT: device of an electric kettle is offered.
