SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of acoustics, to devices for suppressing acoustic vibrations and can be used mainly for the manufacture of honeycomb filler with membrane covers (caps), which is part of the sound-absorbing structure of the engine nacelle of aircraft engines used to reduce the noise of aircraft engines. According to the proposed invention, a honeycomb filler with hexagonal cells is fed to the working table, a roll of acoustic material is loaded into the portal laser installation, from which membrane covers are made using a laser pattern, a set of digital instructions is transmitted to control the movement of a tool with a vacuum gripper attached to the manipulator flange, the cut-out membrane covers from the working surface of the gantry laser system are grabbed with the vacuum gripper, the membrane covers are held by suction force. After that they are brought to the cells of the honeycomb filler, aligned with the viewing device relative to the cells and inserted into the cells of the honeycomb filler.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing complete automation of the manufacturing process of the honeycomb filler with membrane covers, ensuring possibility of working with different types of shape of the cells of the honeycomb filler, providing possibility of inserting membrane covers at different depths.
