FIELD: printing systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of printing systems that include a print head that has nozzles for distributing a printing fluid on a target. The circuit for use with a memory element and a fluid release nozzle consists of a data line, a charge line, and a selector responsive to the data line with the choice of a memory element or nozzle. The selector is for selecting a memory element in the case of a data line having the first value and for selecting a nozzle in case of a data line having the second value different from the first value. The charge line is designed to control the actuation of the nozzle in response to the selection of the nozzle by the selector and to transmit the memory element data in response to the selection of the memory element by the selector.
EFFECT: circuit shares control and data lines to reduce the number of signal lines of the fluid ejection device increasing the free usable space in the device.
