SUBSTANCE: integrated circuit for the excitation of a plurality of fluid activation devices includes a plurality of storage cells, a selection scheme, configuration logic and control logic. Each storage cell corresponds to a fluid activation device. The selection scheme selects the fluid activation devices and storage cells corresponding to the selected fluid activation devices. Configuration logic activates or deactivates access to a set of storage cells. The control logic either activates the selected fluid activation devices or accesses the storage cells corresponding to the selected fluid activation devices based on the state of the configuration logic.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of solutions for integrated circuit production.
