FIELD: heat insulation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sealed heat-insulating tank on board a ship. The sealed insulation tank has a double casing comprising an inner casing that forms a supporting structure for the sealed insulation tank and an outer casing. The double hull has ballast compartments in the ballast zones, which are intended for receiving liquid, which are delimited between the inner hull and the outer hull. The reservoir has reservoir walls that are attached to the inner body. Each of the walls of the tank has in series in the direction of the thickness of the wall of the tank one thermal insulating barrier, which contains insulating panels attached to the inner body, and a sealing membrane resting on the insulating panels. The walls of the tank include the walls of the ballast zones, which are attached to the inner body at the same level with one of the ballast compartments in the direction of the thickness of the said wall of the ballast zone, and walls that are not associated with the ballast zones.
EFFECT: creation of a sealed heat-insulating tank, in which the insulating panels are fixed in a simpler and cheaper way.
