FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a sealed and heat-insulated liquid storage tank containing auxiliary heat-insulating barrier (1) and auxiliary sealing membrane (4). Auxiliary sealing membrane (4) contains a set of corrugated metal sheets (24) hermetically welded to each other, each of which contains two perpendicular corrugations (25, 26). Auxiliary heat-insulating barrier (1) contains a set of articulated insulation panels (2); each insulation panel (2) faces with its inner side (10) a load-bearing wall and contains metal plates (17, 18), to which corrugated metal sheets (24) are welded. Each insulation panel (2) is connected to adjacent insulation panels (2) by means of connecting elements (22).
EFFECT: preventing insulation panels from diverging, as a result of which auxiliary sealing membrane is subjected to less load, when the tank is cooled.
