FIELD: mineral-polymer composites.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mineral-polymer composite materials based on thermoplastic polymers operating in conditions of high humidity and variable temperatures with improved performance properties. A polymer composition for the manufacture of building materials is described, which includes low-pressure polyethylene, chrysotile-asbestos and modifying additives with the following ratio of components in wt%: low-pressure polyethylene - 26.12, chrysotile-asbestos - 67.41, antioxidant - 1.13, pigment - 1.68, polyethylene wax - 1.13, stearic acid - 1.4, chlorinated polyethylene - 1.13.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the physical and mechanical properties of the polymer composition by increasing its strength, hardness, impact strength and frost resistance.
