FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mineral-polymer composite materials based on thermoplastic polymers operating under conditions of high humidity and variable temperatures, having improved operational properties: increased strength and weather resistance. The wood-polymer composition for the production of composite materials includes low-pressure polyethylene, a complex fibrous filler, which is used as a fine magnesium hydrosilicate, wood flour, and as an additive, a mixture of an antioxidant, pigment, polyethylene wax, stearic acid, chlorinated polyethylene 1:1.5:1:1:1 by weight.
EFFECT: improved physical and mechanical properties of the polymer composition by increasing its strength, hardness and frost resistance.
