FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to production of a polyolefin-based composite material. Described is a composite material comprising a polyethylene matrix reinforced with a fibrous filler, a stabiliser, characterized in that the material is made of a mixture containing low- and high-pressure polyethylene, chrysotile-asbestos fibrous filler and special additives in following ratio of components, wt.%: low pressure polyethylene 20–40; high-pressure polyethylene 30–40; chrysotile asbestos fibrous filler 24.5–30; stabilizer 2.5–3; special additives 3–7.
EFFECT: obtaining composite material with improved strength properties, characterized by tensile strength, relative elongation at break, as well as high heat resistance while maintaining low cost.
