FIELD: power electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power electronics; it can be used in sources and systems of secondary power supply, in the creation of multi-level inverters, as well as in the creation of autonomous multi-level systems for the exchange of DC electrical energy. A universal DC voltage converter for powering a multi-level voltage inverter contains a reactor connected to the positive terminal of the power source, connected through another terminal to the collector of a transistor key, the emitter of which is connected to the negative terminal of the power source and through the corresponding transistor keys is connected to the terminals of two capacitors to which the emitters of transistor keys are connected and which form, respectively, the first and second positive terminals of the universal DC voltage converter, the common negative terminal of which is connected to one of the capacitors and the negative terminal of the power source, while a transistor key is connected between the positive terminal of the power source and the reactor, connected through the collector to the positive terminal of the power source, and connected through the emitter to the reactor and the emitters of two transistor keys, the collectors of which are connected to the first and second positive terminals of the universal DC converter, the cathode of the diode is connected to the emitters of the corresponding transistor keys, and the anode is connected to the negative terminal of the power supply.
