FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electrical engineering and power electronics, in particular to static frequency converters with double conversion of electrical energy, built as per scheme of two-link electric converters with intermediate link of direct current. In the frequency converter circuit at its supply from the supply circuit containing the neutral wire, there is a source of constant bipolar voltage, which enables to artificially realize one output phase of the frequency converter. Positive effect of the proposal is that the three-phase frequency converter comprises only four fully controllable keys, wherein the proposed frequency converter with an asymmetric inverter circuit enables to obtain absolutely same functionality inherent in the circuit of a classic three-phase inverter, assembled on six fully controllable keys. As a consequence, reducing the number of fully controlled power keys in the frequency converter circuit simplifies the power circuit, the control system, reduces the number of drivers, increases operating reliability and efficiency of the frequency converter with an asymmetric inverter circuit.
EFFECT: simplified power structure of inverter of frequency converter, reduced number of fully controlled power keys, simplified control system, increased reliability and improved power characteristics of frequency converter.
