FIELD: biological matter; lignocellulosic material.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing methods for modifying lignocellulose material. A method for processing lignocellulose material, which is preferably wood, is proposed, including the following steps: (1) impregnating the material with a fluid medium to dissolve at least 40 and at most 85% wt of the lignin present in this material; (2) flushing with organic fluid to remove dissolved lignin; (3) filling with filler; and (4) final processing in order to obtain a composite material formed from a three-dimensional mesh of transformed filler included in a mesh of cellulose and lignin. The invention also relates to the structure of a composite material that can be obtained in this way and to any part containing at least one such structure.

EFFECT: proposed method of processing makes it possible to obtain a structure that preserves the architecture of wood, composed of a material with improved mechanical properties, in particular, in terms of resistance to bending and compression, in comparison with this lignocellulosic material before processing.
