FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique for the purification of aquatic environments, namely natural waters from surface and underground sources for drinking water supply, can also be used for the purification of polluted industrial effluents in the engineering, oil and gas production and processing areas, for the purification of domestic and storm drains for the purpose of their reuse in the reverse cycle of water supply. The multichamber electrocoagulator contains housing, an inlet branch pipe and an outlet tray, a cover with a union, and DC power supply cables. The capacity of the body is divided by partitions into chambers, which are interconnected by overflow windows. In each chamber, vertical soluble electrodes are installed in the grooves of the lining, while in the lower part in the window of the overflow from one chamber to the next in the direction of water movement, two coils of the electromagnetic system in form of solenoids are installed, made of non-insulated insoluble material, while the turns of the arm of one coil cover turns of the shoulder of another coil.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide high performance of the device and effective water treatment.
