FIELD: engine technology.
SUBSTANCE: plasma engine is proposed. The engine contains solenoids located in an external core-ferromagnet, a plasma accelerator and dees, a cathode compensator, an autonomous source of low-temperature plasma, an accelerator housing, a channel for supplying the working fluid to the ionizer, gas tubes. Additionally, it contains an alternating field generator of dees. In the beam discharge window, an adjusted platform is fixed on the dees, in the slots of which a profiled electrostatic deflector is located. The solenoids are installed in the coil housings of a permanent electromagnet. At the same time, the solenoids are wound on the inserts with the preservation of annular corridor-type channels designed for the flow of the coolant. The supply channels of the coolant are located on the covers of the coils, and the discharge channels are located on the coil body. An autonomous source of low-temperature plasma additionally contains a collector electrode and an extractor electrode. When implementing the invention, the thermal power losses at the output gas channels of the plasma accelerator are reduced, the temperature of the solenoids in the external core-ferromagnet is reduced, the stability of the working fluid in the plasma accelerator is increased, the leakage of the working fluid into the plasma accelerator is excluded.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of plasma engines.
