FIELD: equipment for purification of natural water for drinking water supply, of sewage, of water in circulating water supply and for cleaning of water from oil products. SUBSTANCE: water is treated in chambers of gear positioned in path of flow of purified water. Electromagnetic system made of insoluble and non-insulated flat electrodes manufactured in the form of U-shaped zigzags in which space flat electrodes forming solenoid are installed perpendicularly is placed in first and third chambers. Such design ensures treatment of water by activating-electrodestructive action in complex electric and electromagnetic fields mutually crossing one another in space at some angle and having different gradients of intensity of resulting electromagnetic fields. In second chamber water is treated in electric coagulator with soluble electrodes with slots and with altering polarity of cathode and anode. Potential applied to electrodes of electric coagulator is equal to potential across terminals of insoluble and non-insulated electrodes of first and third chambers. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of purification of natural water, sewage and especially polluted industrial waste water, total avoidance of passivation processes on surface of soluble electrodes in electric coagulator. 3 cl, 6 dwg
