SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a heating unit and a cartomizer cartridge for use in an aerosol generating system. The fluid permeable heating unit (1) for aerosol generating systems comprises a base (10) containing a hole (100) passing through the base and an electrically conductive thread structure (11) located on top of the specified hole. The base contains a solid aerosol forming substrate (14) located on the base and containing a heat-conducting material designed to transfer heat from an electrically conductive thread structure to the solid aerosol-forming substrate. Cartomizer cartridge (2) contains a cartridge housing (20) containing a reservoir located inside the cartridge housing and intended for storing aerosol generating fluid. The described heating unit is located at one end of the cartridge housing with the possibility of receiving the aerosol generating fluid from the specified tank.

EFFECT: improved energy efficiency is ensured.
