FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a fluid-permeable heating assembly (10) for an aerosol-generating system comprising: cover (12) comprising hollow body (14) with first (16) and second (18) cover holes, wherein first opening (16) of cover opposite to second opening (18) of cover; and substantially flat electroconductive and fluid-permeable heating element (20) configured to vaporise aerosol-forming substrate (22) and mounted on cover (12) such that heating element (20) extends across first cover opening (16). Present invention also relates to cartridge (40) for aerosol generating system comprising heating unit (10); fluid storage portion (36) for storing liquid aerosol-forming substrate (22); mouthpiece (38) for holding liquid storage portion (36); and retainer (42) intended for fixation of components of heating unit (10) and for retention of heating unit (10) in contact with part (36) for storage of liquid. Present invention also relates to an aerosol generating system comprising a main module and cartridge (40) detachably connected to the main module.

EFFECT: disclosed is a fluid-permeable heating assembly with a cover.
